London Internship Outreach Coordinator
EUSA - Academic Internship Experts is seeking to appoint an Internship Outreach Coordinator to our London team based in South Kensington.
This is a fixed term contract running from 01 October 2026 until the 5 March 2027.
Overview
EUSA Academic Internship Experts works with universities, departments, and individual professors to create and deliver customized, academically-directed internship programmes in London, Dublin, Madrid, Paris, and Prague.
EUSA has successfully placed over 30,000 students in academically directed internships over the past 40 years.
EUSA place several hundred students per year in academic internships in a range of industries including marketing, media, business, finance, health & science, psychology and the Arts (e.g. theatres, museums).
In addition to internship placement, EUSA's services include housing, academic program development, and program management (including pastoral care, social programme and student wellbeing & safety).
The Internship Outreach Coordinator is responsible for sourcing internship opportunities in London. Under supervision of the Placement Team Lead, the Internship Outreach Coordinator will work to create and foster new relationships with businesses in London.
Reporting Relationships
The Internship Outreach Coordinator reports to the Placement Team Lead.
Responsibilities
Drive growth of our internship portfolio by securing a minimum of 5 new, high-quality placements each month across industries prioritised by EUSA
Leverage and expand our network of organisational contacts to unlock fresh internship opportunities
Be our eyes and ears across London's professional scene — scouting and attending key networking events to build valuable new connections
Grow and curate a dynamic database of London internship opportunities, proactively cold calling to open new doors
Own and execute a LinkedIn growth strategy to build our professional network and visibility
Act as the go-to contact and relationship-builder for new and prospective placement supervisors
Partner closely with the Placement Team to match candidates with the right opportunities
Monitor and report on outreach performance, turning activity into insight
Contribute to strong database management alongside the wider Placement Team
Produce a weekly outreach report that keeps the Placement Team Lead informed and ahead of the curve
Take on other reasonable duties as required — because no two days are the same
Profile and Requirements
Permission to work in the United Kingdom
Experience of network development and/or recruitment
Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Degree level education
High level of professionalism and accuracy
Knowledge of UK business and industry trends
Self starter, ability to use initiative and take ownership of projects
Ability to maintain a degree of flexibility with regards to the ever-changing nature of the role itself
Additional/ Desired
Some familiarity with the US higher education system
Experience living in another culture
