It’s been amazing just to be in and around Westminster, the experience is second to none. The members of my office have been extremely welcoming, which allows me to look forward to going to work every day. Given that almost all of the people in Parliament are British, I feel as though I’ve gotten a good glimpse of the British work culture. Learning how to properly deal with constituents is a great skill to have. Even when they are furious and upset, you must remain calm and polite at all times. In the world of politics, it is important for one to keep their composure at all times which is why I feel as if I am developing skills relevant to my objectives.
