Prague Program Manager

The Prague Program Manager is responsible for program administration and management, including student welfare and support, logistical planning, student housing management, and academic course delivery.

Reporting Relationships

The Prague Program Manager reports to the EUSA Prague Director.


  • Planning, development, and delivery of Prague-specific materials including handbooks, student communications, and presentations

  • Logistical planning and attendance at student events including airport arrivals, orientation meetings, and excursions

  • Academic course planning and delivery

  • Screening and shortlisting of appropriate housing, provider liaison, troubleshoot housing issues and student welfare management

  • First point of contact on student issues

  • Guide and support students from initial interview through successful completion of internship

  • Assess student internship and career aspirations through one to one internship consultations

  • Set up and manage academic internships for undergraduate students from the US across all professional areas

  • Compiling data required to monitor student activity and updating internal systems

  • Regular liaison with university partners and the University Relations Team

  • Regular participation in the EUSA 24/7 emergency on-call rota outside of office hours in conjunction with other team members

Profile and Requirements

  • Able to work legally in the Czech Republic

  • Excellent Czech and English language skills

  • Prior professional experience in the international education sector would be beneficial

  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills

  • Bachelors degree required

  • High level of professionalism and accuracy

  • Excellent organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills

  • Works well under pressure

  • Self starter, ability to use initiative and take ownership of projects

  • Ability to work with people of all ages and backgrounds (students, parents, supervisors, university officials, and colleagues)

  • Ability to maintain a degree of flexibility with regards to the ever-changing nature of the role itself

  • Strong computer skills, knowledge of Mac OS helpful
