London Internship Outreach Coordinator

The Internship Outreach Coordinator is responsible for sourcing internship opportunities in London. Under supervision of the Assistant Director, the Internship Outreach Coordinator will work to create and foster new relationships with businesses in London.

This is a fixed term contract running from 26th November 2018 until the 28th June 2019.

Reporting Relationships

The Internship Outreach Coordinator reports to the London Assistant Director.

Responsibilities

  • Meet monthly targets for viable internship opportunities across specific industries as determined by EUSA

  • Use existing organisational contacts to network and expand internship opportunities

  • Identify and attend appropriate networking events in London to generate new leads and connections

  • Expand and manage database of London internship opportunities, including cold calling

  • Develop and deliver a strategy for network growth via LinkedIn

  • Serve as the primary contact for new and prospective placement supervisors

  • Liaise with the Assistant Director to identify appropriate placements for the internship candidates

  • Track and report on new outreach

  • Support Placement Team with database management

  • Generate weekly outreach report for the Assistant Director

  • Other such reasonable duties as may be required

Profile and Requirements

  • Permission to work in the United Kingdom

  • Experience of network development and/or recruitment

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Degree level education

  • High level of professionalism and accuracy

  • Knowledge of UK business and industry trends

  • Excellent organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills

  • Works well under pressure

  • Self starter, ability to use initiative and take ownership of projects

  • Ability to maintain a degree of flexibility with regards to the ever-changing nature of the role itself
